It would have been a great mix of fabulous covers and equally brilliant, danceable originals with the band fronted by new vocalist Claire Bender to keep you entertained in Fulham tonight! As it happens, I rang the pub today to double-check parking arrangements - only to be told by bar staff that "VENUES POSSIBLE" through whom we were booked - had "cancelled 3am two weeks ago and booked a tribute band instead" - and that "Joe had contacted 3am and let them know". He hadn't. He's a liar. Lucky I phoned the pub today otherwise all five of us would have turned up with the equipment - some after a drive of 20+ miles (!) for NOTHING!
