About 3AM

Rooted in the 1970s rock scene, 3AM was formed in 2004 by founding member and lead guitarist Tim Renton alongside keyboardist Chris Parren. Over two decades, the band has evolved through various lineups, shaped by a succession of dedicated musicians who have defined our soulful blues-rock sound.

The band’s identity has been forged by powerful vocalists, from the raw energy of original singer Helen Turner to the melodic versatility of Laura Long. In late 2025, we began a vibrant new chapter with the arrival of vocalist Esra Parr. Blending original compositions with eclectic covers ranging from Linda Ronstadt to Elles Bailey, Esra brings a dynamic new energy to the stage.
