Next gig a less than a week!
When I first saw this photo of Esra - taken by the amazing Zara Mason at Hersham last week - for a brief moment I considered asking the band to add “Bohemian Rhapsody” to the current covers on their set list . . . ! Anyway, back to reality . . . that Tuesday night gig at Hersham Live Music Club was fantastic! Such a joy to play on a decent-sized stage with professional sound system in place and a packed-out venue full of genuine music fans! - big thank you to everybody who ca

Thames Side Brewery
We had a great gig at Thames Side Brewery! - good to once again see so many live music fans there! Next up is Tuesday 28th April at the Hersham Live Music Club. This is a great place to play and watch live bands - really good stage - their own sound system and sound engineer to get the best out of every one of the very diverse bands that play here - a large room with loads of tables and comfortable chairs informally arranged - fabulously friendly staff (all volunteers!) - and

Thames Side Brewery 4th April '26
3AM now one happy band! One more opportunity to play some great songs to receptive fans! Easter Saturday we will be on stage at the fabulous, huge, genuine live-music shrine - the Thames Side Brewery and Taproom in Staines! A slightly earlier start than usual - we’ll be performing from 8:30 pm - so arrive early to get a well-placed seat, check out the bar and enjoy the company of new and old friends while we warm up and sound-check! Full address of the venue is 1 Hale Street,

Esra Parr joins 3am on vocals!
17 Oct 2025 As at mid-October 2025 we are very excited to be rehearsing with the very beautiful and talented Esra Parr on vocals! She's totally enthusiastic about singing 3am's own songs in between covers from Linda Ronstadt, Elles Bailey - and even toying with the idea of trying out some Skunk Anansie! At the moment our first gig booked with her is the last Saturday before Xmas - if we get offered anything sooner we will put it on our gig list and send details via our newsle

3am play The Pelican, Addlestone Saturday 17.05.25
15th May 2025 A big WELCOME to all of you who signed up to follow us at the Bell in Hounslow! Hope we see you at the Pelican? It’s gonna be a sunny day - so why not spend the afternoon/early evening in the Pelican’s garden on the banks of the River Wey before rocking out for the night with your favourite band? Our new bass player is away so we have the wonderful Fussi Andersen (who's played regularly as a drummer or bassist with 3am for many years from 2009!) depping for us t

Next gig with new line-up is Saturday 5th April 2025!
2nd April 2025 London Stone gig was a blast! Next one coming up THIS Saturday - don’t miss it - you’re gonna love it! - it’s like 3am getting back to its rockin’ roots - PLUS! Adele 'n' Marcus have been injecting a new excitement into each and every rehearsal - Tim, Chris n Frap have responded by taking everything up another notch - watching this develop makes the band’s future look totally awesome! So come along to the Bell? - it has a huge car park, a lovely walled garden w

Next two 3am gigs cancelled
30th June 2025 We've had to cancel our Gig planned for 5th July at Keller & Apres, Bracknell and the following one at the Bell in Hounslow for 12th July. Hoping we can be back to normal with a full band, rehearsed and happy for the others that are still in the diary!

New vocalist needed urgently!
24th June 2025 Gutted to say 3am are once again looking for a new vocalist to join the band! Adele Leigh has a great voice, but sadly she and the band turned out not to be a good fit - so- if creating and performing music is something you can't live without, you're a mature and experienced musician, you're available to gig maybe 3 times per month around the South West London area - please message us with your CV!

3am getting back down to its roots in rock and blues!
17th Jan 2025 So happy to welcome Adele Leigh as our new singer - with the voice we've been seeking for years! Versatile and with that deep, genuine rock resonance! Happiness! And the talented Marcus Araz taking over on bass with a very welcome funk vibe! Rehearsals are not simply going well - they are a positive joy! With eight gigs confirmed and in the diary so far, the band is itching to get back out there and rock you!

Final gig with Colin & Claire! - Sat 16th Nov 2024
11th Nov 2024 Come join us to give a great send-off to Colin and Claire (while dancing yourselves silly at the West Ewell Social Club ) next Saturday! It’s a fiver to get in if you’re not a member of the Club - and if you think you just might make it (please do!) just drop me an email via contact 3am@gmail.com so I can leave your names on the club’s guest list? Bar prices are low so you’ll easily recoup your fiver! Happy to say we already have some great candidates for both s

That's another fine mess we just escaped!
Could have been good...Lucky we went to the trouble of designing, printing, laminating and posting poster and fliers to the pub and letting them know we had sent them - otherwise all five of us would have turned up on Saturday the 20th only to be told "go home!"

New live vid!
16th February 2024 An exciting new performance by Claire Bender and the band - Beth Hart's popular song back on our set list! Great solos by Tim Renton on guitar and Chris Parren on keys solidly backed up by Colin Pattenden on bass and Phil Myers dri ving the drums! Check it out https://youtu.be/pX4z4RezIsE?si=LoN8KnbAtqQrzBZA

Looking forward to our next gig!
6th February 2024 A new venue for us this coming Saturday 10th Feb - The Crown & Anchor in Old Woking High Street. “A riverside pub with rooms & restaurant overlooking the beautiful Surrey countryside.” Lovely thought, but far more important is the pub’s reputation as a brilliant live music venue - bring it on! Anyway, don’t miss us this time - we currently have no more bookings until 20th April! (don’t know what happened there!) With luck, that could change in a heart-beat!

2024 is warming up!
21st January 2024 The weather is still seasonal (meaning freezing cold, wet and windy!) but the future’s looking bright for 3am - we now have 11 gigs booked for 2024!In an effort to reduce our running costs, we’re now having band practice in our living room rather than lovely - but expensive - studios - so I’m typing this and listening to my favourite band at the same time - quite intriguing! Our next gig is now only two weeks away, so make sure you put it in your diaries NOW

Wow! We've attracted more talent into our line-up!
2nd October 2023 Really excited to say we have another highly respected and talented veteran performer joining our ranks! None other than Colin Pattenden - founder member bassist of Manfred Mann's Earth Band! His Wikipedia biog tells us he played in MMEB from its formation in 1971. Featured on seven Earth Band albums from their debut in 1972 to The Roaring Silence in 1976. He quit MMEB in 1977. In 1978, he teamed up with former MMEB drummer Chris Slade and vocalist Peter Cox,

3am's fab new line-up on stage at Molesey Regatta!
4th June 2023 How exciting - our first outdoor gig this summer! - and with new vocalist Claire Bender, new drummer Terry Donovan and new set list - this will be a real refresher for the band - and hopefully for all our fans, too! On Saturday 15th July you'll be able to find us at Sadlers Ride, Molesey, West Molesey, KT8 1SU . We're onstage for an hour from 6:15pm - but plenty going on before then - lots of boat action on the Thames and lots of festival fun and games on land -

Full-time drummer needed for 3am!
27th April 2023 A BIG thank you to the huge number of drummers who've been in touch about our need for a new drummer! Probably best if we give out a bit more info to whittle down the number of (so far, very highly qualified!) applicants. Here goes: 3am is currently a not-for-profit band - the fees we are paid rarely cover expenses - so you need to be passionate about playing live. You also need to be totally committed to just this one band - when we need you - we need you! T

Introducing our fabulous new vocalist!
12th April 2023 She found us! We are SO lucky! Her name is Claire Bender. She is irrepressible. Fun-loving. Has spent many years fronting party bands gigging from the Middle East to the USA (and all around the UK). Now injecting dynamite into 3am’s line-up – so be warned! She’ll be making her 3am debut at our next gig on April 22nd 2023 at the Pelican in Addlestone so please come along and give her a very warm welcome!

Who will it be? Who will be 3am's next amazing singer?
21st February 2023 After 13 years fronting 3am the wonderful Laura Long has parted company from the band so we are now hunting hard for her replacement. Ideally we need an experienced performer with a powerful, deep voice to lead the band through its range of blues rock gems. 3am having been described by a fan as "the best backing band any singer could hope to have" whoever lands this gig will have the time of her life giving her best and being supported by four equally exper

3am looking forward to entertaining the fans again!
24th May 2021 Covid spacing restrictions having put our normal rehearsal studios out of the picture, we've taken to outdoor practice. Our neighbours loving it and dancing! Currently, our next public gig for 2021 is the Pelican, Addlestone, on 31st July.
